How we are compensated
Our Fees
In our practice we wear two hats. The first is to objectively serve your needs as a financial planner by developing a written financial plan based on your goals and what’s important to you. We do this, before any strategies are implemented. We charge a fee for this service. We charge an hourly rate of $125 to develop your financial plan. The total fee paid will be determined by the type of financial plan that is developed and how long it takes to develop that plan. Our plans are written objectively and with generic advice so that a client can implement the strategy anywhere they see fit. You are under no obligation to hire our firm for investment advisory and/or transaction based-services.
Our second hat comes into play after we have delivered your financial plan. We will then present you with implementation strategies that we can handle for you. These strategies might involve the use of investment advisory accounts, commission based investments, annuity and or various types of insurance contracts (Life, Disability, Health, Long Term Care) of which have different compensation structures, which will be disclosed to you.
